October 1986 to July 1990 – Staff Systems Analyst. I was responsible for all phases of design, implementation, and operation of computer systems for an automated warehouse. Computer system was a 3 node cluster of VAX VMS servers. Worked with vendors to design system upgrades, developed application enhancements using “C” programming language, implemented and maintained DECnet network (including clustered systems), responsible for coordination of operations, and installed hardware when needed. Also, provided support for DOS and Windows 3.0 workstations for a department of 50 programmers and analysts.

June 1984 to October 1986 – Associate Programmer Analyst. Worked as System Manager for a group of VAX VMS systems. Included operating system upgrades, installation of hardware and software, maintenance of user accounts, and operational support. Also developed applications for a material distribution system.

June 1983 to June 1984 – Distribution Clerk. Worked part-time while attending school. Distributed reports created by a mainframe MRP system, and provided operational support for an automated warehouse.
